Vero Beach Elementary School had their school orientation last week. Our Lodge was proud to participate as one of their partners. There was a great turnout of parents and students. We're looking forward to another great year of our Elks Love Kids of Character program. It has been a driving force behind the school’s success in getting the students on track for positive behavior by raising the awareness that character counts and getting good grades are important for success.
Volunteers who helped with the orientation: Exalted Ruler Kathi Miller, Program Manager Karen Guidry, Linda Colontrelle, Jane Ferguson, Deb Stuller, Bonnie Swanson and Elroy The Elk (a.k.a. Jack Houlihan).
