Fifteen scholars from around the nation traveled to Chicago to serve in the name of the Elks! Scholars sorted through clothing donations at Cradles to Crayons, gleaned food donations at Nourishing Hope, and organized tools at the Chicago Tool Library. Finally, they wrapped up the week joining the social hour at Illinois Veterans' Home - Chicago and playing games with the residents. The week wouldn't be complete without a visit to the Elks National Memorial and Headquarters. It was an amazing week of serving with diverse organizations, exploring Windy City, and connecting with the #ElksFamily!
