Elizabeth City, NC Lodge No. 856 was instituted in 1903, and currently has 32 members.For the year 2026, the lodge was awarded BEACON and GRATITUDE Grants from the Elks National Foundation to assist in the development of programs serving local youth, veterans, and others in need.The lodge meets 2nd & 4th Mondays, except Jul & Aug, then 4th Monday; and in Dec, then 2nd Monday only, at 400 E Fearing St, Elizabeth City, NC.The Exalted Ruler of the Lodge is Scott Seddon, and the Secretary is David King.
