One of the city’s most popular annual events is National Tom Sawyer Days, hosted by the Hannibal Jaycees. This nationally recognized festival celebrates Mark Twain’s stories with activities inspired by his books, along with live entertainment, food vendors, crafts, and family-friendly events. The festival draws visitors from across the country and is often ranked among the top summer festivals in the United States.
