RV Camping at the Refuge
80 acres of beautiful mountainous/forested terrain located 30 minutes from Albuquerque in the East Mountains. The property includes hookups (electric/water) for 28 RV's and there's a dump station on site. Pending availability, there's a limited number of sites that include sewer hookups.
Please be aware the property is at an elevation of 7800 ft which can cause altitude sickness.
Reserve the covered pavilion for cookouts, reunions, and other social events. The property offers wonderful hiking trails, camping, wildlife sightings, and a peaceful serenity for a nice relaxing easy getaway.
All Elks are welcome to camp at the Refuge during the season which is open May 1st thru September 30th. For Refuge gate access, information and general availability of sites at the Refuge please contact Larry or Doug.
